ZOVA is a community of real people looking for real connections. These Community Guidelines exist to keep it that way. They apply to everything you do on ZOVA — your profile, your photos, your messages and your behaviour. Breaking them can lead to content removal, suspension or a permanent ban.
Be authentic
- Be yourself. Use your own recent photos and real information.
- One person, one account. No impersonation, fake or duplicate profiles.
- You must be 18 or older to be on ZOVA.
Be respectful
- Treat everyone with kindness — no harassment, hate speech, bullying or threats.
- Respect boundaries and consent. Take "no" gracefully and never pressure anyone.
- Keep it appropriate — no nudity or sexually explicit content in profiles or chats.
- No discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or appearance.
Be safe & honest
- Never ask for or send money, gifts or financial information.
- Don't share other people's private information without their consent.
- Keep conversations in the app until you're comfortable, and follow our Safety Tips before meeting in person.
What's not allowed
- Spam, scams, advertising, or promoting other services or platforms.
- Prostitution, escort services, or any commercial sexual activity.
- Violence, self-harm content, or anything that endangers others.
- Illegal activity of any kind, including drugs, trafficking or exploitation of minors.
- Using bots, scraping, or trying to break or abuse the Service.
Reporting & consequences
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, use the Report tool in the app — reporting someone automatically blocks them (you stop seeing each other), and every report is reviewed by our moderation team. Depending on the violation, we may warn you, remove content, suspend your account, or ban you permanently. Serious or illegal behaviour may be reported to the authorities.
